課程概述 |
This course is designed to provide students with a general introduction to research methodologies used in contemporary psychological research and hands-on practice with experimental research methods in psychology. Students will consider a range of alternative research methods, including observation, archival research, questionnaire surveys, case studies, and experimentation. Students will learn how to plan, conduct, and analyze their own experimental research, and how to communicate the results of their research to others. |

課程目標 |
It is hoped that by the end of the course, students will develop the knowledge and skills (a) to design and carry out your own research, (b) to critically assess the research of others, (c) to be a more intelligent appraiser of claims made in the media, and (d) to apply and critique the scientific method in future courses at the NTU and after. |
